The Museum of Policing in Devon and Cornwall is a registered charity that collects, preserves, and celebrates the history of policing in Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The Museum holds an array of historical policing material including documents, photographs, and artefacts, over 10,000+ items in all.
We support researchers, genealogists, educational institutions, and heritage organisations across the region to engage with policing and social history.
The Museum of Policing in Devon and Cornwall keeps its collection of artefacts and objects at Okehampton Police Station.
The archive material - made up of thousands of photographs and documents - is held at the Devon Heritage Centre, in Exeter.
